AATS Cardiothoracic Surgery Resident Poster Competition
This scholarship provides an opportunity for a cardiothoracic surgery resident and a congenital heart surgery fellow to represent their institution’s program at the AATS Annual Meeting on May 5-8, 2013 in Minneapolis, Minnesota by presenting a scientific poster of their clinical/investigational research efforts. Only one resident/fellow per program will be eligible for this opportunity.
 
Summer Intern Scholarships in Cardiothoracic Surgery
The Summer Intern Scholarship program was established to introduce the field of cardiothoracic surgery to first and second year medical students in a North American medical school and to broaden their educational experience by providing an opportunity to spend eight weeks during the summer (June thru September) working in a North American cardiothoracic surgery department.
 
Scientific Achievement Award
Established to honor individuals who have achieved scientific contributions in the field of thoracic surgery worthy of the highest recognition the Association can bestow.
